Kia Ora!At Kingston Motels and Holiday Park budget cabins, modern 4-star motel units and spacious campervan, caravan and tent sites are just a 35 minute drive from the airport in Queenstown and 25 minutes from the entrance to the Remarkable Ski Fields. We are 1½ hours drive from Te Anau, an ideal stopover on the way to/from Milford Sound. Kingston is a small unspoiled town at the southern end of Lake Wakatipu and home of the historic Kingston Flyer. There’s a nine-hole golf course in Kingston, walking tracks, fishing, kayaking, two restaurants and the local Tavern, a post-shop, children’s playground, tennis courts and an old one-roomed school that has been converted into a library. We even have a funky fashion shop. During the summer there are many local events and you are welcome to join us. And, if you’re interested in skiing and winter sports, check out our Winter Rates. Throughout the year, we have special prices and packages when you choose to book using our secure on-line booking system. A pleasant drive from Queenstown, our Holiday Park can be used as a base for Queenstown and its activities but it is away from the noise and traffic of the city. The Holiday Park is set amidst mature trees and the Kingston Creek meanders through the grounds which are planted with New Zealand shrubs and plants to attract the native birds. If you want to experience the Wakatipu as it used to be, we can offer a variety of accommodation options at best value prices. Your hosts, Peter and Robyne extend a warm welcome.
