The Cabins
Cabins
If you are traveling on a budget, consider staying in one of our cabins. We have two self-contained cabins, both with private outdoor
areas, which overlook the Kingston Creek, and four basic cabins. Our cabins are a little bit different and each has its own character. So,
if you want traditional-style simplicity and comfort, book a cabin. Room rates from $50.
Cabin 5: The Studio
Cabin 5 sleeps two and is a roomy modern studio with a queen-bed and en-suite. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, a fridge,
microwave oven and there’s a dining table/chairs, sofa and a television. The Studio faces Kingston Creek, a small stream, and has a small
private outdoor area with table and chairs. Near the Holiday Park facilities, BBQ and internet room, the Studio is ideal for a couple who
want a longer stay.

Cabin 6: The Crib
Cabin 6 was a Ministry of Works cottage, used by workers in the remote countryside, around the Wakatipu area during the 1950s and 60s.
We have decorated it in the style of a typical South Island ‘crib’ (basic holiday home for family and friends). Cabin 6 has a separate
bedroom with a double-bed and bunks and comfortably sleeps four. There is a sofa in the living room with table/chairs and a television.
The Crib has a small fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and fridge; the en-suite has all usual facilities. There is a small private
outdoor area, facing Kingston Creek, a small stream. The Crib is near the BBQ area and internet room and popular with families.
